Commercial Cleaning Technician
Commercial Cleaning Technician
Permanent, part time leading full time, weekend, day, night
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Location: Urban areas around St. Albert, AB
Skill requirements:
Languages: Speak English, read English, write English
Work setting: Office building, commercial building
Specific maintenance activities: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors, remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, empty waste containers, wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures, perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, water and tend to plants, work with minimal supervision
Equipment operated: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, waxing machines, steam cleaners, upholstery cleaning equipment
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation
Essential skills: Oral communication, working with others, problem solving, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, continuous learning
Cleaning Technician

Experience: Past experience is an asset for this position

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing and walking throughout workday
Transportation/travel information: Must have valid driver’s licence
Essential skills: Working with others, job task planning and organizing
Other information: You will assist in fast responses to emergency property damage claims and will perform water extraction, content inventory, demolition and structural cleaning. Heavy lifting is involved.
Construction Labourer
Permanent, full time, on call, overtime
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Location: Various locations around St. Albert, Alberta
Skill requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials: Driver’s license, First Aid certificate, WHMIS certificate
Experience: Will train
Languages: Speak English, read English, write English
Equipment and machinery experience: Reciprocating saws, circular saws, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, chainsaws, forklifts
Specific skills: Load, unload and transport construction materials, assist in demolishing buildings, clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Own equipment:Toolbox, steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity
Work site environment: Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, dusty
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation, vehicle supplied by employer, valid driver’s licence, travel expenses paid by employer
